Can anyone advise me how to get around this? How can I upgrade to windows 10 without using the USB port as I will need to occupy that for power. It does have a 64gb SDXC card however, but at the initial win 10 download stage I get the message that there isn't enough space on the internal drive, and unlike when I had the external drive attached via USB, it doesn't offer the option to install via the SD card. To recover data from SD card, manage or format SD card, MiniTool software offers easy free tools. This post provides a Windows 10 SD card reader driver download and install guide to make your computer detect the SD card reader. I can't charge the tablet at the same time as attach the external drive because the single port is one and the same. If Windows 10 doesn’t recognize the SD card reader, it might be the SD card reader driver issue. If I attach an external drive, that does the job, but the tablet runs out of juice long before installation is complete. I'd like to upgrade to windows 10, problem is there isn't enough space on the internal drive. I have a 32gb tablet running 64 bit windows 8.1, Intel celeron 1.6ghz, 2gb mem ram - it has a single micro USB connector which, like a smartphone, is for both charging the tablet and data transfer/usb peripheral attachment etc. Hi all, apologies if this has been asked many times before - I couldn't find anything conclusive, which leads me to believe that it's a non-starter, which I find hard to believe!
